Our Supporters Engagement Policy

1. Introduction

At Worcester City Women Supporters Club, we are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and passionate community of supporters. Our Supporters Engagement Policy outlines how we engage with our members, fellow fans, the football club, and external organisations to uphold our core values of TRUST.

2. Principles of Engagement

We engage with our supporters based on the following principles:

a) Representation & Advocacy

We will act as a collective voice for our members on matters affecting supporters, such as ticket pricing, stadium atmosphere, and club policies.

We will maintain independence from the club while seeking dialogue on issues that impact fans.

We will advocate for fair treatment of all supporters, ensuring transparency in club decisions that affect the fanbase.

b) Inclusivity & Respect

Our club is open to all, regardless of background, age, gender, race, or beliefs.

We will not tolerate discrimination, abuse, or violence within our group or towards others.

We will foster a culture of mutual respect and unity, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all members.

c) Matchday & Community Engagement

We will actively support our team home and away, creating a passionate atmosphere with chants, banners, and fan displays.

We will organise pre-match meetups, social events, and charity initiatives to strengthen our community.

We encourage responsible behavior and will not engage in or condone any form of violence, vandalism, or illegal activity.

d) Communication & Transparency

We will provide regular updates to our members via social media, newsletters, and meetings.

We will encourage open discussions within the group while ensuring debates remain respectful.

We will be transparent in decision-making and encourage feedback from all members.

e) Collaboration with Other Groups & Organisations

We will work with other supporters’ groups, football authorities, and fan organisations on shared goals.

We will engage with the wider football community to promote supporter-led initiatives and fair governance.

We will not align with any political or commercial interests that conflict with our independence and core values.

3. Code of Conduct
All members of Worcester City Women Supporters Club are expected to:
Support the team positively and passionately.
Treat fellow supporters and the wider football community with respect.
Avoid actions that could bring the group or its members into disrepute.
Follow the rules of the club and stadium during match days.
Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and united atmosphere.

4. Handling Disputes & Complaints
Any disputes or complaints will be handled internally through open discussion.
Serious issues (e.g., discrimination, misconduct) will be reviewed by the leadership team, with action taken where necessary.
Any concerns about the football club’s policies will be raised professionally through the appropriate channels.
5. Review & Updates
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant and effective in representing our members and upholding our values.
